Thursdays, March 20, 27, April 3, 10 from 6:30-8:30pm CST
Join Mary Bue and Tara Cindy Sherman fresh off their pilgrimage to India where they were immersed in the energies of Shakti, Shiva, and The 64 Yoginis. There are many temples dedicated to the 64 Yoginis throughout India each with their own group of yoginis complete with elaborate symbolic iconography.
The focus of this series is an exploration on the vibrating power of the Yoginis as a whole as opposed to one particular goddess. The core of these teachings hail from the KaulaJnananirnaya Tantra which were handed down from Matsyendrapada after he returned from Chandradvipa the mythological "island of the moon" deep below the sea.
We will draw inspiration from these teachings along with the gifts from our studies in India. Explore techniques that help yoke and harness the inner forces of the human body and the universe. Discover how Tantric techniques can help transform our lives into a living creative expression of Source.
No previous experience necessary, just an openness to the wisdom of feminine face of the divine.
